Guadalupe Noyola

Guadalupe Noyola, a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, and lifelong resident of La Feria, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, in Midland, Texas. A woman of deep faith, Guadalupe was a dedicated and active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Her generous spirit and kind heart were evident in every aspect of her life. She supported numerous charities and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Guadalupe was known for her extraordinary cooking and baking, filling her home with warmth, love, and delicious meals. Her sons fondly remember her as a hardworking and encouraging presence, always pushing them to be their best and reminding them of the importance of love, resilience, and compassion. Her selfless nature touched many lives, including those she encountered during her time in the nursing home, where both residents and staff were drawn to her kind and uplifting presence. She is survived by her two loving sons, Jose L. Noyola, Jr. of Odessa, Texas, and Gerardo Noyola of Atlanta, Georgia. Guadalupe is also survived by her beloved siblings: Gloria Banos, Pedro Garza, Jr., Maricela Martinez, Elizabeth Garza, and Jesus Garza, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Noyola, Sr.; her parents, Pedro and Micaela Garza; and three sisters: Juanita Noyola, Maria De Jesus Sanchez, and Rosalinda Ybarra. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in La Feria, Texas, officiated by Deacon Joe Gonzalez. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria. Pallbearers will be Martin Garza, Martin Garza, Jr., Ciri Berrones, Luis Vega, Michael Johnston, and Rene Alfaro. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas. Guadalupe’s life was a beautiful example of love, faith, and service. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
