Patricia Ann Palomo

Our beloved Patricia Ann Palomo, 62, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was born on February 22, 1960. Patricia was a graduate of Harlingen High School class of 1978 and was a member of the acapella choir. She attended Texas A & I University, Kingsville and graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in education and a minor in biology. She was an elementary school teacher who taught at Lamar Elementary School in Harlingen, TX for 28 years. She loved everything about life. She loved visiting and laughing with family and friends, and was a talented artist with the most beautiful voice. Patricia was an absolute whiz at sewing. Some of her favorite pastimes were going to the beach, watching Korean dramas, and shopping. Her thoughtfulness and giving nature touched everyone. She was always quick to offer help and kindness to her family, no matter the size of the task. She was everyone’s biggest fan and offered encouragement, even when we didn't know we needed it. Her greatest love was her daughter, Adrienne, along with her adorable little old puppy Slade, a close second. Their mother-daughter bond was unbreakable. I love you the most ‘n the post toast! ❤ Patricia faced Scleroderma & Raynaud’s Phenomenon courageously and with unyielding determination. She helped many medical professionals learn about her condition throughout the years. The teacher in her never retired. She is preceded in death by her youngest sibling, Edmund. She is survived by her daughter, Adrienne Rachelle Roseberry, her parents, Mike & Betty, siblings, Mike, Jr (Lynette), David, Mary (Clay), Ruben (Christina), Melissa (Sergio), Michele, Melinda (Shane), Saul (Melissa), and Teresa (Brian). She was also the proud aunt to many nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Brandon, Kristen, Justin, Bryan, Cameron, Caleb, Madeleine, Sabina, Allison, Sydney, Shea, Vivian, Nathan, and Thomas. Services will be privately held for the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to UT Health Physicians, Dr. Shervin Assasi, Director, Division of Rheumatology. Their expertise in treating Scleroderma was greatly appreciated. Awareness of Scleroderma and Raynaud’s Phenomenon would benefit anyone who suffers and their loved ones from this disease in the future.
