Patrick Charles Davis, Age 62, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick Charles Davis, a man whose passion for life, kindness, and generosity touched the hearts of many. Patrick never met a stranger—his quick wit, love of laughter, and endless stories made him a friend to all. He was born December 8, 1962 in Corvallis, Oregon to Leroy Albert Davis and Sarah Nell Thomas who precede him in death. Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Annette Davis; 2 children, Lucas Davis and Rose Davis; 3 step-sons, David Bracken (Maggie), Daniel Bracken (Sofia), Joseph Bracken and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Dennis Davis (Yoli), Bob Davis (Kelly), Glen Davis and a goshson, Colt Whitehead he affectionately called "Sixgun" and numerous other lifetime friends. Rooted in his faith, Patrick’s spiritual journey was shaped by the Methodist Church, where he found joy in worship, Bible study, and Sunday school. His faith was reflected in his deep love for people—family, friends, and those less fortunate. He was a confidant, an advisor, a listener, and above all, an understanding soul. To Patrick, God was evident in nature, the beauty of creation, and the act of serving others. Patrick was patriotic to the core, holding a deep respect for military service and a profound love for his country. He never took for granted the privilege of freedom. He also had a love for animals, the great outdoors, music, and song. A man of many passions, he found joy in reading, listening to podcasts, painting miniatures for war gaming, and anything related to firearms. After years in the construction industry, Patrick found fulfillment in the hospitality business, where he thrived on welcoming and serving others. Yet, the simple moments brought him the greatest happiness—working on projects at home, fixing things, and sharing life’s journey with his beloved wife by his side. Patrick lived by the words, “Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself.” His legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will continue to inspire those who knew him. A memorial service to honor Patrick’s life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Rudy Garza Funeral Home, with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post 205. May his memory be a blessing, and may his spirit live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
