Senona Rosales

It is with heartfelt remembrance that we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose presence was a gift to all who knew her. Senona Rosales, age 92, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on July 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving daughter, Evangelina Garcia, and Mr. Ernesto Treviño She was beautiful - not only in outward appearance, but in the gentleness of her spirit and the kindness she offered to all. Elegant in every sense, she carried herself with dignity and poise, her presence like a calm light in turbulent moments, reassuring and radiant. Senona was born on December 20, 1932, in Harlingen to Leonardo Rosales and Maria de Jesus Salazar Rosales, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Maximiliano Garcia, Jr.; her brothers, Leonardo Rosales, Jr., Daniel Rosales, Francisco Rosales, and Manuel Rosales; her cherished sister, Cruz Rosales Solis; and the father of her children, Maximiliano Garcia. Her trustworthiness was unwavering, a foundation upon which many relationships and lives were built. Precious to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, she offered her time, her wisdom, and her love generously, never asking for anything in return. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Evangelina Garcia; her sons, Armando Garcia and Arnulfo Garcia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her loving siblings, Herminia Rosales, Anastacia "Ana" Rosales Montez, and Maria Luisa "Mary" Rosales Beltran. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, a prayer service will begin at 6:30 PM and a rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home and burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery A woman of faith, she walked through life with a grace that reflected her deep spiritual convictions. Her belief in goodness, in hope, and in the power of love guided her through every storm and inspired everyone who journeyed alongside her. She taught us that faith is not simply something spoken, but something lived-gently, boldly, and with kindness. She lived her values with grace that embodied dignity, compassion, and strength. Her elegant spirit lives on in the many hearts she touched and the legacy she leaves behind.
