Beatriz Cantu Barth, 84, of Mercedes, Texas, formerly of Kingman, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on August 6, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones. Beatriz was born on March 16, 1936 to Jose and Dolores Q. Cantu, from Mercedes, Texas. She is predeceased by her parents, Jose and Dolores Cantu, her husband, William Lee Barth, four sisters, Santos Chacon, Olivia Cantu, Elena Ochoa, Margaret Dean, and two brothers, Jose Cantu, Jr. and Bernardino Cantu. She is survived by three sisters, Anita Cantu, Ofelia Cantu, Lupita Pfeifle, numerous nieces and nephews, and many close cousins. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home.
