He leaves behind his loving daughter Dannie Rae Vargas and his siblings Hugo Vargas (Maylene), Omar Vargas (Velia), Anita Coleman, Star Hogan (Tom), Eloy Vargas, and Nora Ortega (Jesse). Daniel is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Leanor Vargas. Services will be held at Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM. Departure to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery will commence the following day on Wednesday at 12:30 PM.
