Lorenzo Ramos

Lorenzo Ramos, 82, passed away on March 23, 2021 in Mercedes Texas. He was born on September 5, 1938 in Mercedes Texas. He was retired as a farm worker and a custodian employee and life-long resident of Phoenix. Arizona, till he moved back to his hometown of Mercedes Texas in 2007. He enjoyed watching and listening to college and NFL football games. He married Maria Guadalupe Romo on December 29, 1966. He is survived by his loving family: 2 sisters; Irma (Luis) Villanueva of Mercedes, Estella Ramos of Toledo, 5 Brothers; Refugio (Eduarda) Ramos of Yuma, Arizona, Frank (Sofia) Ramos of Toledo, Guadalupe (Betty) Aldape of Globe, Arizona, Jose Maria (Anabel) Aldape of Mercedes, Ruben (Oralia) Aldape of Mercedes, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. We will depart Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Mercedes Texas. . Funeral services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Mercedes Texas.
