Lucille Rose Payne

Lucille Rose Payne entered into rest on Thursday, December 23, 2021. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Auther William Payne. Also preceded by her mother Rose F Crouch, father Fred Sulke and brother Fred W Sulke. Lucille is survived by her brother Vernon Crouch and sister-in-law Catherine Crouch, sister-in-law Linda Payne, Cousins Ruth and Junior Phillips, nephew Adam Crouch and nieces Michelle Todd, Debi Lewis, Dorrie Fricano, and Samantha Korkosz. Lucille added much to the lives of all who encountered her. Always willing to be of service to others, she belonged to St Albans Episcopal Church. She was a Bell Telephone “Pioneer”. Active in the Order of the Eastern Star, she served as Worthy Matron of the Stockbridge Michigan Chapter and in the Rio Hondo Texas Chapter, served as Deputy Grand Matron in the Grand Chapter of Texas and was a Daughter of the Nile; of service to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
