Maggie Meza 61, of Harlingen went to be with her Lord Thursday, May 12, 2022. Maggie was born February 11, 1961 in Harlingen, Texas to Guadalupe and Josefina Flores. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Juan Antonio Gonzalez and her brother Jose Flores. Maggie is survived by her loving family, her husband, Josias Meza; 2 sons, John Anthony Gonzalez (Rosemary Ayala) and Jacob Gonzalez; 3 grandchildren, Carolina Paloma Gonzalez, John Anthony Gonzalez III and Jackson Gonzalez. She is also survived by eight brothers and sisters, Tina Mendoza (Luis), Berta Arellano (Cipriano), Ricardo Flores (Carmen), Ramiro Flores (Linda), Beto Flores (Sylvia), Ismael Flores, Jaime Flores (Minnie), Estela Santillan (Andy) and numerous nieces and nephews. Maggie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a caring aunt to her nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin today (Sunday) from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM and a prayer service will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 with a chapel service to begin at 1:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home and burial will follow at Combes- Harlingen Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home.
