Oralia Martinez

January 12, 1936 - March 21, 2022

On March 21, 2022 Oralia Martinez was called home to be with her Lord at the age of 86. She was born January 12, 1936 in Alamo, Texas to Pedro and Rosa Trevino. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Martinez; son, Jose T. Martinez and her grandson, Ronnie Joseph Martinez. Oralia leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Juan Martinez, Tomasa Martinez, Rosalinda M. Gonzalez, Sylvia Abrams, Jiame Martinez, Jesus Manuel Martinez, Maria Oralia Cortinas, Santiago Clemente Martinez, Pedro Martinez and Martin Aaron Martinez. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and her siblings, Olda Canales, Oscar Trevino, Pedro Trevino, Joe Trevino and Tomas Trevino. Oralia was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and a member of the Las Guadalupanas. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and a rosary will begin at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 departing the Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
