On Monday April 18, 2022, Rodolfo "Rudy" Palomo was called home to be with the Lord. He was born July 31, 1981 in Raymondville, Texas to Juan Francisco and Aurelia Palomo. He is preceded in death by his father. Rudy leaves behind to cherish his beautiful memory, his fiance, Mary Hernandez; his mother, Aurelia Palomo; his sister, Samantha Palomo; 4 brothers, Leroy Palomo, Juan Francisco Palomo, Jr., Arnulfo Palomo and Anthony Palomo, He also leaves behind 3 nieces, 3 nephews and numerous aunts and uncles. Rudy was employed as manager with Whataburger Restaurants for many years throughout the valley and currently he was employed for Conns Appliances. His ultimate career goal was to become a truck driver which he accomplished recently and had just received his CDL license. Rudy's loving heart left a beacon of light for all who knew him. He was a loving son, fiance and brother who was very passionate about helping others. He was cheerful and respectful with a great sense of humor, those around him were drawn to his infectious smile. Rudy was always looking out for his fiance and taking care of her, he loved her family and they loved him very much. Visitation will begin Saturday at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and prayer service will be at 7:00 PM. and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 departing the Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM funeral service at Our Lady of the Asssumption Catholic Church and burial will follow at Raymondville City Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home.
