Maria Dolores Morales

Maria Dolores Morales, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on January 27, 2025. Born on July 22, 1931, in Zacatecas, Mexico, Maria was the cherished daughter of Isaac Banuelos and Luz Valle. Maria was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Juan Santos Morales, and six siblings. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her family, including her eight children: Connie Toscano (Abel M), Leticia Davila (+Darrell), Javier Morales (Norma), Johnny Morales, Raul Morales, Raymond Morales, Hector Morales, and Mario Morales. Maria was also blessed with 21 grandchildren; Lamar Roel Trevino Jr, Omar D Trevino, Belinda Mendoza, Michael Morales, Connie Ramsey, Javier Santos Morales, Brianna D Morales, Klarissa Morales, Jaylin Morales, Meagan Salinas, Terry Morales, Paul Morales Jr, Jose Morales, Leticia Briseno(+), Elizabeth Sara and Jessica Davila; 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom were her pride and joy. A woman of deep faith, Maria was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and proudly served with Las Guadalupanas. She was a dedicated volunteer at church festivals, where her delicious tacos and gorditas brought joy to many. Her warmth and generosity were evident in her actions, and she found purpose in serving her community. Maria was known for her humility, kindness, and unwavering love. She never spoke an ill word about anyone and was a true example of grace. To her grandchildren, she was a constant source of love and affirmation, making each one feel as though they were her favorite. Visitation will begin Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025, departing the Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 9:15 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Javier Morales, Hector Morales, Lamar Trevino, Omar Trevino, Mario Morales and Raul Morales and honorary pallbearers are Johnny Morales and Raymond Morales. Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home
