Roberto Botello, 61, entered into eternal rest on April 13, 2026, in Harlingen, Texas, surrounded by the love of his family. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of my dad, Bobby Botello, a man whose generosity and strength touched the lives of so many. He went above and beyond for others, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer support, or simply be there when someone needed him most. Bobby was a highly respected bricklayer, known throughout the community for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic. Through his craftsmanship, he helped build not only structures but lasting relationships and a reputation rooted in pride and integrity. His work stands as a testament to the life he built with his own hands. More than anything, he was a provider and protector. He took care of everyone he could, never hesitating to put others before himself. His kindness, generosity, and selflessness will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and compassion that will live on in his family, friends, and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 39 years, Sylvia R. Botello of Harlingen; his cherished daughter, Cristina Botello Garcia and her husband Camilo; and his beloved grandchildren, Caylee Garcia and Camilo Garcia, Jr., all of Harlingen, who brought him immense pride and joy. Roberto also leaves behind three nieces and nephews whom he raised as his own children: Eva Ruiz and her husband Danny, Ernesto Salazar, Jr., and Maria Perez, and Annalisa Ramos and Michel Zamora. His love and guidance will forever remain in their hearts. He is further survived by his siblings: Rosemary Cardenas and her husband Martin of Wisconsin, Jorge Luis Botello, Hermelinda Botello, Santos Botello, Jr., and Juan Jose Botello, all of Harlingen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Santos Botello and Oralia Bejarano Botello, and his brother, Carlos Botello. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen. All services will conclude Saturday evening. Roberto will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous heart, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
