Antonio Montemayor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Antonio Montemayor, 65, of Harlingen, Texas, entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2022. He was born on October 16, 1956, to Gregorio and Herminia (Hernandez) Montemayor in Blue Island, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Roy Montemayor, his daughter Jennifer Robles. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his loving wife Cathy, son Tony Jr, and step son Royjustin Pena, brothers Reyes, Greg, Ernest, and Manuel Montemayor; his sister Guadalupe Montemayor, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Trucking was his job, but his passion was family and his strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. He would never miss an opportunity to minister or give hope to anyone. He lived a very fulfilled life from having mud truck, horse racing and trail riding experiences. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed. Visitation will begin on Monday, July 18, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm to be officiated by Pastor Mark Coppins. All services will conclude on Monday night at 9:00 pm. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought an excellent fight. I have finished my full course with all my might, and I’ve kept my heart full of faith. There’s a crown of righteousness waiting in heaven for me, and I know that my Lord will reward me on His day of righteous judgment, and this crown is not only waiting for me, but for all who love and long for his unveiling. Funeral services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Harlingen, Texas.
