Bernadino Cosme, 82, a lifetime resident of Mercedes Texas went to be with our Lord on Sunda, April 24, 2022. He was Born February 18, 1940, to Soledad and Damacio Martinez Cosme in Mercedes Texas. He is survived by his loving family. Sons: Bernadino (Bernie) (Belinda) Cosme, Richard (Amanda) Cosme, Fernando Cosme, Gabriel (Ana) Cosme, Daughters: Beatrice (Martin) Caballero, Belinda (Juan De Leon) Cosme Zepeda, Daisy (Jaime) Perez, Magdalena Cosme, Cathy (Miguel) Jimenez, 34 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren, Brothers: Jilberto Cosme, Guadalupe Cosme. Sisters: Irene Castillo, Consuela Reyes. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April,27, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. noon to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 27, 2022, from 11:00 a.m., to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary on both nights at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 29, 2022. (Tentative funeral schedule) We will depart Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will then follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Mercedes Texas. He is preceded in death by his Loving wife, Magdalena (Male) Cosme, his Son Eduardo Cosme and his parents. Mr., Cosme was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will forever be remembered. for his witty personality and loving spirit. His passion in life was his family and all the grandchildren. He is and will forever be loved and missed by all that knew him.
