San Juana Torres, 75, passed away on August 24, 2021. San Juana was born on February 8, 1946 in Harlingen, TX to Sesario and Juana Hernandez. She was married in 1966 to Armando Garza as the two of them eloped in Denver, CO. They later had a church ceremony back in Harlingen together with family. From this marriage they had nine children before their divorce. On August 22, 1980, she remarried, Ramon Torres. Ramon had 3 children previously and then they had one more together. San Juana took pride in caring for her large family and did the best she could to provide for everyone after the loss of Ramon. San Juana was always cooking Mexican dishes and homemade tortillas for her and her family. San Juana, Ramon and all the kids enjoyed spending time together as a family and watching wrestling both on TV and Live events that came down to the Valley. San Juana is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ramon Torres, son Ramon Garza, daughter and son in law Patricia ( Juan ) Palomino, son in law James Bennett, granddaughter Lilly Bell Garza Yanez, Sisters Elena Villarreal, Juanita Flores, Patricia Hernandez, Maria De La Luz Pena, Cepriana Garza. Brothers: Martin Hernandez and Ancesion Hernandez. She is survived by brothers Santos and Marcellino Hernandez. Children: Ramon ( Grace ) Torres, Marcella Bennett, Juanita ( Marcos ) Rangel, Guadalupe ( Joaquín) Cordero, Maria Micaela Torres ( Robert Zamuido ), Armando Garza, Juan Raymundo ( Lorena ) Torres, Antonia ( Johnny ) Perez, Ernesto Garza, America Garza, Robert Torres plus 40 Grandkids and 21 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and the Rosary and Committal service will be held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen. All services will conclude Friday, September 3, 2021 at 9:00 pm .
